What is the Learn & Earn Club?Learn & Earn Club provides a platform to connect businesses that want to increase awareness of their software or services (“Educators”) with executives who want to learn more about the software and services that are available to them (“Learners”). Learn & Earn Club connects these two groups and facilitates compensation to the Learners for their time spent with the Educators.
-
Is this a scam?Nope! We’re a real company registered in the real state of Delaware with real employees that offers this valuable service.
-
Why would someone join the Learn & Earn Club?If you are like most of our members, these two things are true about you: You would love to stay more up-to-date on the current happenings and offerings in your industry that could make your life easier, your company more profitable, or both. You get a ton of spam and cold emails that you ignore or delete. Learn & Earn Club helps you with both of these things. Your personal assistant will sort through the junk and cold emails you forward to them to identify which ones are from real companies you may actually want to learn about. They will then negotiate and coordinate on your behalf for compensation for the time you spend learning about a new product or service.
-
Why would a company pay to meet with me?It’s really hard to get attention. Many companies today spend hundreds of dollars with third party marketing companies (e.g. prospect list rentals, email blast software, conference sponsorships, etc) or platforms (e.g. digital advertising, social media, etc) with the hope that a few people will actually respond to them. Learn & Earn Club believes this process is inefficient and ineffective - if companies are going to spend the money anyway, they might as well give it directly to you to compensate you for your time instead of to unrelated third parties. By joining the Learn & Earn Club, everyone wins: Educators get what they actually want (a meeting with you at no extra cost), and Learners get what they deserve (new knowledge and compensation for their time).
-
How does the process work? You will be provided with an email address to which you can forward all your junk and cold emails. Your personal assistant will identify which ones you may be interested in and will reach out to the senders to negotiate compensation for your time. You will then be presented with the opportunity offered by that Educator (e.g. $300 for a 30-minute meeting) and a brief summary of the Educator’s product or service, which you can accept or decline. If you accept, your assistant will coordinate scheduling the meeting between you and the Educator. After the meeting, your assistant will facilitate payment.
-
Do I have to participate?Nope. This is entirely voluntary. Neither Learners nor Educators are obligated to use the service or to take any specific meeting or any meetings at all. However, most Learners find it valuable because it helps ensure they are getting the most value out of each day, and most Educators find it valuable to cut through the noise and secure actual face time (or phone time, depending on preferences) with the Learners in their ICP.
-
How much will I get paid?At this time, Educators decide how much they are willing to pay you, and then you can decide if you want to accept that amount or not. In the future, there may be more standardized offerings (e.g. $300 for a 30-minute meeting).
-
How will I receive payment? You will receive a Visa, American Express, Amazon, or other generally-accepted prepaid card. In the future, this process will be more automated and will deposit money directly into your bank account.
-
When will I receive payment? After both a Learner and Educator have confirmed a successful meeting took place, Learn & Earn Club will coordinate with the Learner to facilitate payment, generally within a few business days.
-
What can I do with the payment I receive?Whatever you want! Learn & Earn Club members use it for a wide variety of things, including professional development, extra retirement contributions, 529 plans or other educational savings, spontaneous vacations, fun little treats, and charitable contributions.
-
Does the Learn & Earn Club impose any kind of obligation on Learners to try or buy the Educator’s product or service?Absolutely not. All compensation is for the Learner’s time only. You will make any (or no) decisions regarding next steps (e.g. another meeting with the Educator, discussing what you learned internally, issuing an RFP, starting a trial, purchasing a product or service, etc) based solely on your evaluation of the suitability of the Educator’s offerings for you and your business. Participants in the Learn & Earn Club incur no obligations to Educators whatsoever other than meeting for the agreed-upon amount of time. Furthermore, Educators shall not state, insinuate, or otherwise imply that an obligation has been created.
-
If the Educator and I want to have another meeting, exchange emails, or otherwise continue engaging with each other, do I have to route that through Learn & Earn Club? No. Learners and Educators are free to communicate directly with each other at a mutually agreed frequency.
-
What happens if an Educator agrees to a meeting and doesn’t show up or changes their mind?A Learn & Earn Club representative will work with you and the Educator to attempt to resolve any issues and/or reschedule the meeting. We all know sometimes unavoidable conflicts arise, but any Educator determined to have a pattern of missing meetings will be banned from Learn & Earn Club.
-
If I have a specific area of interest I’d like to learn more about, does Learn & Earn Club help find Educators in that area of interest who want to meet with me?Yes! Let your Learn & Earn Club representative know what you’re interested in, and they’ll be happy to see if we have any relevant Educators who may be interested in meeting with you.
